Project completed for celebrity chef Norman Van Aken at the Westin Colonnade Hotel. Norman’s 180, developed on the concept of figurative travel, is about allowing oneself to be nostalgically transported to a bygone era. The space, like the food it presents, is meant to evoke a sense of unpretentious sophistication, of elegant rusticity – every detail (every piece of furniture, every bite) is finely crafted with true materials. Space is, more than anything else, sincere.
